In the south center and southern part of Portugal, there is a region called Alentejo. Barona Brewery Company is one of the pioneers of craft beer making in that area.
5 years ago, a group of friends started to experiment with some beer making in one of their mother's garage. Now, the business is growing and stakes are getting high. Nevertheless, the passion prevails.
